Mount Tecumseh November 2010 (Kit)

The kit for a shoulder season hike of New Hampshire’s Mount Tecumseh:

Layers (what I wore)
-Marmot Scree Softshell Pants.
-Lightweight Longsleeve Mountain Hardwear Long Underwear.
-Lightweight Shortsleeve Mountain Hardwear Tee Shirt.
-RAB Generator Alpine (a light weight puffy coat.  I used the coat while hanging out on the summit to keep warm).
-Smartwool Liner Hat.
-Generic Visor (I switched the visor for the hat near the top as the temperature dropped).
-Eastern Mountain Sports Windstopper Gloves.

-La Sportiva Nepal Boots (better safe than sorry this time of year).
-Smartwool Light Hiking Socks.

 The Pack (and its contents)
-Black Diamond RPM Backpack.
-RAB Kinetic Jacket (I never wore this but brought in case of snow, rain, or wind).
-Eastern Mountain Sports Summit Mitten (I never wore these but brought them in case of cold at the summit).
-Black Diamond Sabertooth Crampons (I never used them but you could have made a case for them on the upper third of the mountain).
-Black Diamond Spot Headlamp (just in case).
-First Aid Kit.

Food and Water
-3 Liter Camelback.
-3 Gu’s (ate 2).

Everything else
-Black Diamond Traverse Poles.
-Suunto X6HR watch.
